Makecade Tools is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use the outputs of the tools — converted files, generated code, calculated figures — however you like, with no attribution required. You may not attempt to disrupt the service or use it to process material you have no right to process.

No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While the calculations are implemented carefully and their formulas are documented on each page, no guarantee is made that any output is correct, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Verify anything that matters before relying on it.

Financial calculators are not advice

The mortgage, freelance rate and compound interest tools are illustrative models. They are not financial, tax, investment or legal advice, and they cannot account for your circumstances, jurisdiction, allowances or the actual terms of any product offered to you. Projected investment returns are assumptions you supply, not forecasts. Consult a qualified professional before making a financial decision.

Your files

Because processing happens in your browser, you retain complete control of and responsibility for your files. Makecade Tools never receives them and therefore cannot recover, restore or delete them on your behalf. Keep your own backups before running any operation that replaces a file.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Makecade Tools and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including lost data, lost profits, or decisions made on the basis of a calculation performed here.

Advertising

The site displays third-party advertisements. Advertisers are not endorsed, and transactions you enter into with them are solely between you and them. See the privacy policy for how advertising data is handled.
